Camping at Fort Stevens

Last month we went camping at Fort Stevens with Erick's family. We had al ot of fun. Todd and Erin surprised us by bring four wheelers so we went out a couple of times. The boys loved it. We went on a lot of bike rides around camp and to the beach. Erick and Todd also went boogie boarding in the ocean. They had all the gear: wet suits, gloves, shoes, and hoods. It was so funny to see them all decked out. Halle was a hand full the whole time. She wanted to look at everything so we couldn't keep her in one place, but she loved it. Now she always talks about camping and the ocean. We had a such a good time and can't wait to go again next year.

I didn't think Halle would like the ocean because it is so cold but she loved it. We let her run around, I have never seen her having so much fun.

We went and saw the sea lions in Astoria. Erick tried to get close for a picture but Halle was terrified, as you can see in her face.

She calmed down once we got further away.

There was a play ground by our camp site, Halle had a fun time playing there.
